About Lighthouse
Lighthouse Disability Ministries Inc is a registered 501(c) Non-Profit organization located in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
The purpose at Lighthouse is two-fold:
- To provide respite relief for caregivers of individuals with disabilities though a monthly event
- To provide a safe entertainment destination for individuals with special needs to fellowship
Who We Are
Lighthouse was founded in 2023 by Marc & Risa Padgett as a result of a flourishing special needs community that has expanded greatly since it’s inception.
Originally Marc & Risa started a Sunday school class for individuals with disabilities, only to find that there was a far greater need than could have been predicted at it’s inception. After prayerful consideration, they decided to advance the cause and further their mission by creating a non-profit ministry.
It’s truly their passion to provide a great escape for the disabled, as well as those who care for these amazing individuals.
The demand is great, and we want to help both individuals with disabilities and their caregivers.
